Anyone had a chance to handle the new USO SN-4 1-4x Dual Focal Plane yet?

Here's a link to it at CS Tactical's site:

In the verbiage it is mentions that with the SFP, it offers a circle-dot but the reticle picture shows U.S. Optics standard circle only.

I talked with, I believe Jeff, at US Optics. They started out with the circle dot, but he said the version coming out is going to be the standard circle without a dot. The illum is suppose to be brighter than the standard SN4 1-4X, but he did not know how much brighter. Said it would probably not be aimpoint bright.

so at 1x the circle-dot are all that are really visible but as you zoom up to 4x, the circle-dot stays the same size and the mil reticle will grow in size and "appear" inside the circle?

this is really interesting and I'll be looking out for this. it will solve a lot of issues with reticle design if they can pull it off. but being USO, it's going to weight a metric ass-ton more then the metric ass-ton their other scopes already weigh...

U.S. Optics is missing the point when it comes to a 1x4. The circle is too large for accurate work at 1x. The scope really needs a center dot at 1x.
