Built this gun a few months ago but didn’t get to shoot it until today.
Specs:
LMT 16” Carbine Upper, 5.56 NATO, 1/7 Twist
Stripped Spikes Tactical Lower
Spikes Tactical F/A BCG
Daniel Defense LPK
Magpul furniture via DSG Arms
Magpul Backup Rear Sight
BCM Gunfighter Mod 4 Charging Handle

No optics yet, I want to get used to the iron sights first. I may get an Aimpoint PRO when I get a few $$

I ran about 150 rounds thru it with no problems at all. I started at 25 yards to try and zero the sights but it was a PITA without any tools. This is a 20 round group after adjusting:

Then I moved it to 50 yards:

All of this was from a bench, no offhand shooting today. So far, very pleased with this gun!

Looks like a real nice, no frills build. :D

An easy way to make adjustments on the front sight is to use a bullet tip to press the detent down, in case you don't have the tool.

What ammo were you using?

I was using Remington UMC and Fiocchi 55 grain ammo. I did the bullet thing to press down the detent but it was a pain rotating the post. I left the tools I usually take to the range in a different bag. It worked out pretty well anyway.

I like it! Glad to hear it's running well - I had the same frustrations with Troy BUIS and switched to KAC micros. The definitely hurt the wallet but elevation adjustments are easy and there's not too many optics that don't fit over the KAC micro rear.
