Shoot it until you’re out of ammo.

Basically, it's not something to at all to concern yourself about. Just shoot the ammo of your choice.

Be careful if you're on a range line. It will throw brass 15 feet.
You might hit someone who will come over and break your barrel.

For the SIG Classic SWAT, I shot 100 rounds, cleaned it, put a price tag on it and sold it.

Haven't had a problem since.

But maybe it's just me...
