View Full Version : Aimpoint of shotgun
Just replaced my Benelli M4 with a Benelli M4 SBS entry model.
Now I'm thinking of putting an aimpoint on it.
I've been using Aimpoints for a very long time and love the optic. However I've always use the M2.
Now I'm on the fence about which Aimpoint to put on it. Stick to what I know the M2 or go with something smaller like the T1.
So what considerations do you guys have on the matter?
BTW, I'm running a collapsible stock and I like running it on the second to last position from full out. When running the ghost rings this stock position is too high, so I think it would be perfect for an RDS.

My Benelli wears an H-1. A full magazine tube makes it heavy enough as is, why add the extra weight?
Not a Benelli, but my 870 wears a T1. Perfect match for a shotgun.

I agree. Even though I love the M2 and has served me very well, I think I'll have to go with the T1. It's a slicker look and feel to the whole system.
My Benelli M4 SBS has an aim point t1 on it . It is a great optic for the shotgun.
I use it with both eyes open like I do with my trig icon m3s. I have great results that way.
Sigguru,
let me ask you. My only concern about the t1 is how small the tube is. Does it feel a bit restrictive looking through something so small?
R.
I dont think so. I have been shooting a t1 since they came out and I also have one on my M4 SBR 7 inch. I am very use to it and have great results with the t1 and Small tube.
My agency has begun to mount T-1 Micros's on our 14" Remington 870's. There have been no issues that I am aware of. If you like a larger sight, I can not recommend the value of the Aimpoint PRO highly enough. I recently read that retailers had them back in stock. They can be had for as low as $400.
the T1 is great for target acquisition when mounted on a shotgun

I do. So I mount it a few inches to the rear of where I like my full size Aimpoint.
