This device is pretty handy. It allows the operator to peer from cover around corners or to actually fire their weapon as well. It's also an interesting training aid. Check out the review:

I've had this for years......same principle, not as "fancy" :D
Fits right on an AimPoint.

Amazing design. What about the durability? Do you have a picture of the sight from the normal view?

Is there a correct form to shooting around corners? Same shooting-hand grip, right?

If they put a dot on the front of the optic, they could sell this as a stand-alone unit, correct?
I had a hard time getting a picture of it where you could see the dot. But it doesn't change the sight picture at all, really. You look right through it as if it wasn't even there. It doesn't distort or discolor the image, it's completely transparent to the user. Looking through the side also yields a crystal clear image.

There's no reason to remove it as it really doesn't interfere with the use of the RDS. They do offer the same sight with a quick detach mount (lever) so you can quickly remove and install it. But once on it doesn't change how you use the rifle normally, but it does give you the ability to use it by holding the weapon out in front of you.

good video review! it does have some limitations since it's a beamsplitter. if you're looking through the side and it's brighter behind the weapon, the rear image can overpower the one coming in the front.

i also found that using something to steady the rifle (against a barricade or something) helps to keep it on target during recoil, since it no longer has your shoulder to recoil against. i wrote a review back in march on it with more pics, if anyone's interested in additional info:

again, nice vid as always.

Nice. But I wouldn't like to look through that thing the majority of the time when it's not being used for what it is intended for. Is there a way it can flip up out of the way? I didn't see anything like that.

That's pretty interesting. I thought you were going to shoot your winch at first!

Looks to be along the same lines as this:http://www.aimpoint.com/products/all-products/product-singleview/product/CEU/ but maybe better.

They don't give you any instructions on proper grip really. I've seen guys using it by holding it out like I am and even some guys shooting it while holding it down low and firing the rifle with their thumb. This can be seen in videos on their (Accutact) Youtube channel.

But it comes fairly naturally, at least it did for me.

So is anyone making a unit with a red dot already on it? I could see it selling well if you merged the two together and sold it as one.
