I, like most of modern Internet users, love YouTube. Its a great site for both entertainment and learning, and there are hundreds of thousands of videos.

One promising thing I am seeing on youtube is the amount of videos of shooters showing off their new quality builds. While I am sure there are countless videos of "New DPMS M4" or "Check out my tactical Bushmaster", I have seen a large surge of videos by shooters, often either new or fairly new to AR shooting, making videos of their new quality rifles.

Now not to be a salesman, but it seems like they majority of vids I am seeing are of BCM products. Here is the basic consensus of these videos that I can tell:

- Most of the critical components are BCM
- Most of the videos are made by shooters new to the AR platform
- Most of the users make it clear their choice in BCM is because of its quality, regardless of how they describe it ("milspec", "military grade")
- These are often younger people, mostly in their 20's or 30's.
- A majority were made within the past year.

It really makes me happy to see this. While I currently own no BCM products, (I have a new upper on the way though) this trend seen on Youtube (and across the internet in general) means that the good info provided on this forum is obviously getting out there, in some form or way.

While a lot of the comments on the videos are good, it seems there's always the guy who wants to say "Well, for $150 less you could have got a DPMS with more features", ect.

Here's some good examples:

Now of course these guys may not be great shooters and do not have good training (yet), but at least they are buying QUALITY, one of the most important aspects.

Faliphotography is a great lady. Willing to listen and wants to understand what she is getting. I have traded emails with her over the course of her build and always pointed her to this site. It is interesting to see how her AR has evolved. She doesn't always explain things 100% correctly or use the right terminology but she is at least trying.

That aside I see what you are saying. I hope you are right but a part of it is just the fact that with so many people buying ARs more good ones are showing up as well.
