View Full Version : Saw a cheating husband get busted tonight at dinner

I was sitting at dinner with my girlfriend, fairly nice restaurant, next to a couple. Tables were in close proximity, and it was an 'upscale' place, so it wasnt to terribly loud, and we were able to hear most of what went down...

Guy is there with a woman, waiter greets them, guy says that they are here for their 20th anniversary, and that they have never been to the restaurant before. They order, etc. About 10 minutes into the meal, another waiter drops by the table and says something like "hey {guys name} good seeing you, back so soon huh?" I guess this clued the wife in, and she had a meltdown right then and there. She said something along the lines of "I knew you were cheating you asshole" Both sides commence yelling, cussing, she was crying, it was real bad.

Everyone just stared, I mean what do you do in that situation? The lady slapped him in the face and stormed out of the restaurant in tears. Everyone applauded, and a few people mumbled 'asshole' etc to the guy.

It was a really awkward, sad situation all around.

I know this sounds cheesy, but seeing the hurt and heartache in that womans face was pretty depressing. Pretty sad the value (or lack of) that we put on our committments these days.

Anyway carry on..

Thats what a few of us were joking about, but the guy basically admitted to it during their little spat at the table. He said something like "well this is what happens when you {something about being demanding}"

My wife and I were outside enjoying a cool breeze talking, and our neighbors car pulls up. This wife is in tears yelling at the husband. They go inside and she starts throwing his shit in their front yard. Police show up, and arrest the woman. I guess she hit him or some such.

The dude (cheater) is a middle school principal locally, and after that "fight" he was bringing his whore over to the house multiple times. They ended up putting it up for rent.

I hope cheaters burn in hell.

If you're married and find out your spouse is cheating...move out before they get home and RECORD it, secure assets, and do not have any contact except through a lawyer or court. Stay with a buddy who can attest to your whereabouts when you are not at work. All it takes is one accusation to lose your gun rights or get a DV conviction. If I found out my wife I was cheating I would not even be there when she got home. Id be somewhere else with a witness to where I was. A woman call call 911, have the tiniest mark on her, and you are going to jail. Especially if custody is involved a woman fighting against a man with a DV conviction will win 99.9% of the time. They will even go so far as to claim sexual abuse against kids and rape as the reason for divorce. "The first one to call 911 is the victim".

Hell he could have just said that just to piss her off more.

Who knows. We tried our best, despite being 10 feet away, to mind our own business.

That said, the guy acted like a total prick who knew he'd gotten busted. Finger pointing, demeaning, etc. I'm normally a "side with the guys, as women can be heinous bitches" type, but this guy gave off strong dickhead vibes, through and through.

Normally yes women usually don't start any thing in public unless they have a good reason to. But even if they are in the wrong the public Sympathy will always be on there side.

Thats why I told my wife Id rather live the rest of my life in jail for non payment than ever work to pay her if she cheated. Id nuke my life, and pay cash for everything before I ever paid her cent, and if I got sent to jail over it she'd most definitely get nothing. No way Id ever pay a cheating whore a cent of money, and if she wants to jump ropes the new rope can pay for it.

ETA: But then again we are not into singles nights and going out with people neither of us know. The only time Ive gone out without her was with a neighbor we know well to see a movie, and we were home by 11. I would never go out to a bar or whatever without her, and she would not do that, either. No sudden "staying late at the office" or "going out with the girls" to a bar. No hiding cell phones, and in fact we have the same code on our phones. She'll use mine if she can't find hers or its low on juice. Same with me. She's on "my" computer half the time anyways. We know each others email passwords and face book accounts. We have a pretty damn open marriage and don't go trotting out drinking with friends while one of us stays home up late waiting for the other to show up. I would NEVER put up with a woman who wanted ladies night out and I don't want a guys night out. I even said if there was a bachelorette party, and a stripper was there...there would not be a wedding at all. Neither would she put up with me having a stripper nor would I even want to. Her friend was pressuring her to go all out with some shit and I put a stop to that immediately as did my wife since she didn't even want that. We are both simple people not into partying or going out drinking. We ended up ditching ALL of the wedding plans and gave money back to our parents, got married at a court house, and been happy since. No big wedding, no strippers at parties, no going out with "friends" who will push you into sleeping around just to justify it to themselves, ect.

We even talked to a preacher beforehand, and he even told us out of the hundreds of weddings he has done the people who get divorced are almost always the ones who go for the big weddings, parties, ect. Most of the people who have very small weddings or court weddings make it long term.

A women doesn't need a girls night out to cheat on a spouse.

IDK marriage is hard at times , but it also can be very rewarding.
I have tried to stop trying to cast blame from one person to the next on a failed marriage. I do know that women all most always come out better even when they are in the wrong. I will say I am also tainted some what because I know of two co-workers at different jobs that have committed suicide because of there spouses.

It is what it is. Not every person has the same formula for a lifelong marriage.

Speaking from experience, I think it's rather naive to predict how you are going to react/respond to the situation until you have been through the emotional wringer of an unfaithful spouse.

It is the most painful, humiliating, confusing, gut-wrenching, enraging experience I've ever been through. And I did some things I would have sworn I would never do or allow to happen. It is big time ****ed up and most of that cool, rational "this is how I'd handle it" thinking goes right out the window.

Having the support of family and friends who can listen to all the crazed bullshit and then inject a little sanity into the situation will save your ass.

I grew up in NYC when there were actual western Euro immigrants from places like Italy, Ireland, and a very Catholic Puerto Rican population.

Mistresses were not out of the norm by any means.

Some fathers lived the strict catholic life. Others had something on the side, and a possible kid or two living a few subway stops away. It is what it is.

Still, divorce was damn rare. Incredibly rare. It wasn't even an option. Someone basically had to die. As a kid I've seen husbands and wives damn near kill each other, but the culture and value system ensured divorce rates were looow.

Like I said though, not everyone has the same magic formula.

my parents been together about 60 years my wifes parents also about the same ?

my theory is you marry the family so take a look at the family of the girl you are marrying since it might have rubbed off on her

my other theory is I would not want to put myself in a place where if my wife was next to me she would be pissed or uncomfortable

but thats me :) been with her just over 15 years very happy to see her every day and we work together every day from a home office

I waited till I was 30 something to get married past on a few ! one my buddy ended up marrying and of course he is single !!! told him it would happen

I do think to many jump in and think they can jump out ? which they can but I dont believe that

ANYWAY

I do hope the couple had no kids !!!!!!!!

It is sad no doubt.

Betrayal always sucks. When you add the intimacy (an intensifier) element to it all bets are off regarding rational Cortex brain directed thoughts.
Look for more ralationship tensions, agressive behaviors any genders as the socialism (tolerance) being rammed down our throats by Brzezinski's agenda, creates the anxiety as response to the unhappiness etc.

Your going to see a lot more of that as this Brzezinski's nightmare plays out in our society. He is the architect of the dawning doom & gloom make no doubt. Look for a lot of infighting in families, relationships, racial tensions, riots etc.

If your smart, you'll research it so you can understand it better.

^^^ that is the TRUTH.

I had a very strong suspicion that my ex was cheating, then one day while she was gone I found her diary.

Lots of descriptions and even some pictures of what she'd been doing. I'd wondered how she'd graduated Magna-Cum-Loudly - she'd been screwing her college profs.

So, I drove my happy ass to Kinko's and made two copies of everything... one copy stayed in my safe at home, the other in the safe at work.

Then I lived out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fce-roCrPjU

....right down to the post-it notes. When I left that day, I left said song playing on the CD player, on Repeat. (She'd seen the video, so she 'got it'.)

When I got home, her and 95% of her shit were gone. The song was *still* playing!

Yeah I hear ya on that one man. My wife is hot as hell. But the apple fell pretty far from the tree, cuz her mom Kinda reminds me of Dog The Bounty Hunter sometimes. So definately a no-go. As for what I would do if I found out she was cheating? I'm not too sure. But given how unpleasant the thought of it is, I can almost guarantee you that whatever I do would be pretty irrational. Thankfully though, we have a very strong relationship which has made for a rock solid marriage. But anyone that rushes into the latter, without first establishing the former, is setting themselves up for failure IMO.

i wonder why that's so, but it does mirror what i've seen. my best friend had a huge wedding (his wife's wish), and they're considering divorce now. another friend bought a HUGE engagement ring, and they lasted two years.
my wife and i eloped; she didn't want a wedding or engagement ring (doesn't like jewelry), and she bought her own wedding band. we've been married 13 years and couldn't be happier.

Sounds like the moron wanted to get caught.

I hope I'm smart enough to never cheat on my wife. She's the best thing to ever happen to me. If I ever caught her cheating, I'll simply walk away. It would hurt and it would hurt plenty to leave her, but I do love her and I'm not doing the drama thing again. I don't go around looking to see if she's cheating either. I'm confident cheating isn't going to be a problem. If I'm wrong, so be it. If we're together, it's got to be because that's what we want

My wife's first husband was a real idiot which leaves me with some pretty low standards to live up to.:D If she has a car that runs, AC that works, food and bill collectors are not calling, she is happy. Except cheating. She won't tolerate that and she won't have to. That leaves me with a LOT of latitude.:D:D Her: "Is that a new gun?" Me: "Yeah, why?" Her: "Just wondering.":D:D:D

I was having lunch with some old timers a while back and the conversation turned to "what's the most valuable thing in your life?"

Without missing a beat, the two oldest guys, both married for over fifty years, said "my wife and my marriage, because I've put more effort and energy into building and sustaining that relationship than anything else."

Makes a lot of sense, treating your marriage like an investment that you work at to build something of lasting and inestimable value.

As for the cheating, I'm of the opinion there are two basically two types of people in the relationship game: the ****ors and the ****ees. It's best to stick with your own team. My second wife and I were both the "****ees" the first time around and, having been handed the shit end of the stick, have no desire to inflict that kind of misery on anyone else. After fifteen years (and not all smooth sailing) we're still together, still happy, and looking forward to more years ahead. I consider myself damn lucky in a lot of ways, but my wife is definitely the best of it.

A buddy got married years ago, big wedding, all the bells and whistles. The bride's family is old money, very high class. Mike's bride was a joker but this time she out did herself. Mike had a girlfriend some years previous, a real hotty and very, very sexy. Mike had lost contact with her and did not know she had gotten married and was very, very pregnant. His bride, Nancy arranged for this woman to show up at the rehearsal dinner. She stormed in shrieking "Where is that son of a bitch?" Walked over to Mike and began loudly informing him that married or not to "this PERSON" (pointing at Nancy) he was going to meet every obligation, pay every penny for "OUR CHILD". She then stalked out leaving Mike to attempt to explain what everyone present but him knew was a joke.:D He was not able to make a very persuasive explanation. After about two minutes of trying the ex-girlfriend and her husband came back in the room and we all got a good laugh. I don't think Mike really thought it was funny but he put up a good pretense.

My philosophy on choosing a mate has always been to marry a woman that can be your best buddy. The reasoning behind it is that when you're ugly and wrinkled, can't see, can't hear, can't chew food, can't screw, and can't go 2 hours without pissing your pants....your sorry ass is going to need a friend.

If you are white and protestant (or atheist), the odds of you getting divorced are higher than other demographics.

So for all you white men, marry a catholic Asian, Caucasian or Hispanic...female preferably. It increases your odds of having a lifelong marriage

That demographic is among some of the lowest in the nation for divorce.

Culture is a big part of it as well

Sure Quiet. Sure. Does this mean I have to take back what I said about you?

Thinking back on this prank I don't think everyone was in on the joke. The grooms mother was, his sister, I was, I think the bride left her family in the dark. They were as much victims as the groom. I almost peed my pants trying not to laugh.

What's the going rate on a tip for a waiter that totally drops you in the grease like that? WTF?:haha:

That's the problem with the service industry....and all working people these days. Nobody takes pride in their craft.

Watch some older movies or listen to some older guys talk. Back then waiters and concierges were discreet, they had all of the hook ups. If you wanted drugs, a hooker, you pretty much name it. Your conciege could track it down for you. Waiters were discreet there's no way a professional waiter would have dropped you in the grease like that!

I say fire the freakin waiter for his rookie mistake!

Just saying!

Haha who knows, maybe the guy was a bad tipper and the waiter decided to **** him over?

I just read this and the first thing that came to mind was.

I remember waiters and bartenders giving me the wink and nod when they saw me there 4 times a week.

Now...Haters...

I would put my bet on this. 8% just doesn't cut it at an expensive place.

This is an example of why, when I take my wife to dinner, we go to Hardees or Burger King. You don't have to worry about stuff like this. Besides, it saves money for guns.

I once saw a guy propose to a prostitute at a sushi bar once.

No shit. After she said yes he added ''but you can't let men pay you for sex anymore.'' and she responded (with tears in her eyes) ''YES! YES! YES!''

They got a free meal.

BTW: If you ever want a free (or discounted meal) just propose to your woman loud enough for everybody to hear. I've seen this done 5 times, by two different friends of mine.
