The machined uppers I have seen have small cut out around the bolt release.
Has anyone mounted a MagPul BAD Lever on one without any modification to the upper or the lever?
Thanks

I was running one on a Noveske lower and a Vltor MUR upper w/o a problem.

Using one on my MUR causes the bolt to lock on a non-empty mag. The back of the BAD attachment piece hits the MUR receiver. I have to file it down but as of yet have not done so.

Hmm. I never had that problem. I was using a CMG/Stag bolt catch and PMAGs with mine.

I was pretty anal about the way I had it fitted. Sometimes they gap funny on the backside if not placed just right. The best thing I ever did was to throw the screw that came with it away and go and get some cap head screws from the hardware store. It's amazing that with just a little bit of extra torque you can really keep it from twisting on the bolt catch.
