300 blackout optimal barrel length?

I am converting one of my ARs to 300 Blackout.
I am trying to figure out the best barrel length.
14.5 will let me avoid going SBR. However I have heard some recommendations to stay Sub 12".

The gun will of course have a can.

Use has yet to be fully defined but I don't see taking shots past 200 meters.

9-10" would be about ideal, IMHO.;)

I like 8-9 the most. But I like my 16 inch also.
