New handguard decision help

Haven't built a new AR in a while, so i decided its time, after I sell an upper. I pretty much know how im going to build it, but i need some opinions on a handguard. Im deciding between a Troy VTAC TRX battlerail or the Samson Evolution. Any thoughts/opinions? Does anyone know the outer diameter of the VTAC TRX and weight? I was leaning toward the VTAC since it seems to be more popular but to me the samson looks better. Any help would be much appreciated.

don't always go with more popular. not always the best. if you can't decide by popularity, i would go with what looks and will hold what you are wanting to mount. both are good as far as i know but i am still kinda new to the ar platform.

Troy's TRX & VTAC Extreme's measure 1.75" OD and Samson's measure's 1.85" OD. Hope this helps.
