View Full Version : Noveske N4 questions
Ok, I'm new and I don't know what to do.
Do all the current Noveske chrome lined rifles sport an N4 barrel or is the N4 a completely seperate rifle. Thanks in advance.

There's the N4 light which is a tapered medium profile that's the same weight as a Gov't profile and now they have a skinny profile which is what is often referred to as a pencil profile. I believe that unless it says skinny in the description you're looking an N4 profile.
Go to their website and read the description. It says what type of barrel is attached.
N4 is the model name of all our AR-15 sized lowers.

Just in case there are any nonbelievers.....

UPS just delivered a 14.5 pinned skinny upper to me yesterday. I haven't fired it yet but it really is a thing of beauty. They are bringing me a 16" lite early next week. I'm broke but happy.
I just talked to a tech at Noveske. He said all of the chrome lined barrels are N4 barrels.
All our chrome lined barrels are for the N4/AR-15 sized platform.
Will any other N4s ever be offered with the "skinny profile" barrel beside the MOE model?
yes, http://noveskerifleworks.com/cgi-bin/imcart/display.cgi?item_id=r-trsc-556&cat=152&page=1&search=&since=&status=

There are two different things in the article; the one you linked to on Noveske's page is the 16" described in the second part of the article; the one described in the beginning of the article is a 10.5" SBR - ie one of these: http://noveskerifleworks.com/cgi-bin/imcart/display.cgi?cat=136. If I'm not completely mistaken they have one of each pictured in the article.
I was talking about the authors 16" that he brought to the course.

Then I think that's the one you found on their website. You could email Noveske and ask (with a link to the article) just to make sure.
It's the same barrel, different rail.
This is the model in the article.

Is there an N4 skinny in 16" barrel? All the ones I've seen has a 14.5" barrel, and I don't want a pinned FH.
There is no Skinny 16" at this time.
