Just curious to see what everyone is stocking up on as far as ammunition type goes, and if not stock up but perhaps what you shoot most regularly for you AR-15. There are so many different manufacturers and types, what's your favorite and why? Is it federal 5.56 55gr FMJ, 62gr Penetrator, or maybe Hornady TAP. Let's hear it, for the record I'm still searching for what I like, or perhaps what my rifle likes the best, so maybe this thread will help me find it.

Do you know how many such threads we have had?

I'm stocked up on XM193 55gr (Brown Box Lake City), its generally
what I shoot at the range and classes. I shoot it because it works in my 3 carbines which have true Nato 5.56mm chambers, _less_ chance of blown primers (none yet :D). Also have some American Eagle and PMC all 55gr which I purchase when the price is right.
For defensive/SHTF purposes I have a couple thousand rounds of
Hornady TAP and Practice 75gr OTM rounds and Hornady Match .223
75gr BTHP. Also some Winchester 5.56mm Q3131A.
These feed 2 Colt 6920's and one Charles Daly CDM4LE (1:7 twist.)
