Current production HK416 barrel profile?

I've decided to shed some weight from the HK MR556A1 and have my barrel re-profiled (it's currently 1" under the hanguards and .750" in front). Larry Vickers and others have mentioned that new HK416s have a "lighter" profile barrel.

Does anyone know what this profile is; .730" under the handguards or .750" throughout? Any info is greatly appreciated, as well as any inputs on re-profiling (I'm not looking for a lightweight though). Thanks.

Jayson at Investment Grade Firearms has been doing this with success, from what I have read. He can re-profile it to 416 spec, or whatever spec you like. I have also seen where guys had their barrels dimpled under the handguard as well...

Thanks for the input, but I've got a smith picked out. I was looking more for the technical specs of the current production barrels (i.e. Govt profile or medium contour etc.)
