I sighted mine at 50 yard and I had to adjust rear sight more than what I was expected.

How off is your rear sight from the center?

What rifle are you using? What folding sights? I'll try to help but give me as much info as you can. For the record I've never had a problem with mine. A little tweak here and there and I'm on. I use Troy and mbus almost exclusively. Had issue with one yankee hill that just would not keep zero. Lesson learned.

My MI rear sight looked about like that when I had the factory gas block on the rifle. But once I replaced it with my own gas block flip sight combo, it's now dead center in the rear.

Does this really matter if its zeroed and stays that way?

I had a ARMS folding rear sight that required me to have it 2/3 of the way to the right to zero. I didnt like the folding rear sight so I swapped it out for a Larue Fixed rear sight the Larue fixed only required 4 clicks from center to zero.
That being said as long as you can zero it it will be OK.
IMHO some folding rear sights do not center on the rails.

put some MBUS on my v5, didnt have to move them at all. dead center on the rear, and no movement up or down for a 50 yd sight in.

Rifle is Noveske N4 Low-Pro

Sights are stock Noveske (Troy) folding sights.

I thought this question was asked and answered in your previous thread that was locked down.

my magpul MBUS had to be moved significantly to the right.
My troy rear sights on two of my guns had to be moved significantly.
My LMT fixed rear sight had to be moved as well.

Wasn't this asked earlier?

It's normal. Mine was over further than that. Feel better?

I just got back from the range and sighted in my new Magpul MBUS Gen II's and they were almost spot on.

2 clicks to the left on the rear and 3 clicks down on the front. By far the easiest sight in on FU sights I have had yet and I have used MI's, Troy's and a set of DD fixed sights(not talking bad about any of theese companies by the way all the previous sights were great)

I will have to say that I have had similar adjustments with sights I have previously owned so I would say that is PAR for the course OP.

My Troy rear sight was way off and took a few clicks to get it on target. Just bought the T1 and sighted it in with my BUIS and then went to the range and they were about an inch to the left off of target. Should of known something was wrong when I really needed to adjust my T1 as they come centered from the factory.

Have to agree with everyone else. About par for the course. If it stays put, blast away.

Asked and answered. Your's are well within the acceptable range. Just shoot the rifle.
