I don't get it...

The less expensive, more flexible alternative would be to get a regular carry handle mount with a picatinny or weaver rail along the top, and then get a set of regular 1" rings... As one of the reviews on Midway mentioned, if your scope doesn't fit between the rings as they are, you're screwed.

I have the Leupold mount, and it works well. Somebody on this forum put me onto the ProMag mount, and it also works fine (in some ways it's better than the Leupold item).
