I found my old Aimpoint MKIII the other day, back in the 90's the wires separated from the soldering on the power knob. It will be an easy fix if I knew where to solder the wires. There's a blue and black wire and I can see where at least one was attached before. Going left and right of the set screw on the bottom of the control knob does anyone have any idea? I'll try to post some pictures in the next few days for a better idea of what I'm talking about, I just don't want to guess and destroy the sight. I will be using it on one of my fighting/SHTF AR's until I get a replacement optic. How good do you guys think it would be for that role as I have no idea when I will be able to replace it? If all else fails I'll try to sell it to fund a new Aimpoint or ACOG, let me know if your interested. Thanks for the help.
