What do you think about LEO vehicles equipped with the steering wheel on the right vs the left? When an officer is exiting the vehicle from the right they would not be exiting into on-coming traffic.

That would be weird to get used to. I hate sitting passenger side in uniform.

As for safety issue i dont think the pros outway the cons.

Just curious, we have had a rise on accidents with vehicles broken down on the side of the road and then being hit. Friggin nuts out there.

Stop locations, vehicle placement, and timing can mitigate existing hazards. Going to right-hand drive presents a whole new set of issues and adjustments that far outweigh the gain. Let's leave it to the USPS and parking meter folks.

Although, it would be amusing to pull up beside cars and have them wonder where the driver was, if only for a minute.
