Around $20 each. Youtube reviews say they are GTG. Anyone have one? Do you like it? Blade-tech for $20! Can you go wrong?

Dude for $20 I would grab as many as I could. That is by far one of the finest holsters I have ever owned.

My thoughts on this are... would you go out and buy a new mattress because it's on sale, or would you go out and spend your money to get something that is comfortable and you would sleep well on?

I say this because I bought a Blade-Tech Ultimate as my first IWB because the reviews were great. While the profile is very thin, the comfort is lacking greatly. I eventually did some more research and found Crossbreed... and it was a night and day difference. I wore the Crossbreed on a 10 hour drive and not one time did it bother me. There are times that I almost forget I am carrying because of the comfort and wide-spread weight distribution. Here are the links below... you will find that the Ultimate and the Phantom are similar enough that I would expect the same discomfort while carrying.

Ultimate (http://www.blade-tech.com/Blade-Tech-Ultimate-Concealment-Holster-pr-821.html)
Crossbreed (http://crossbreedholsters.com/SuperTuckDeluxe/tabid/90/List/0/ProductID/1/CategoryID/1/Level/1/Default.aspx?SortField=ProductName,ProductName)

Buy once, cry once.

I read somewhere Clint Smith said that "wearing a gun is supposed to be comforting not comfortable". I am interested in the crossbreed holster but a quality holster for $20 is appealing. I don't need a holster to be comfortable and I agree it helps.

My original question was about the Bladetech Phantom holsters and I figured that they would not be as comfortable as a semi-custom holster. My question was about the Phantoms utility.

I just received my Phantom. I did pay $20 for it through cheaperthandirt. The holster is not kydex like their expensive cousins, it is injection molded plastic. It's only made for a few pistols (glocks, 1911s, sigs). I was quite pleasantly surprised at the comfort and the quality. I bought the one for the glock 19 and I've found it's quite comfortable and concealable, would not hesitate to recommend it.

I have had several Blade-Techs; they have done fine by me. I have had more comfy and less comfy, but for the price, for me, they have been comfy enough.
