Looking to take a carbine course in the Sacramento are. Any leads?

These guys were recommend by Sacramento black rifle. I have no experience with them, but the sbr guys are pretty good.

LMS Defense (http://www.lmsdefense.com/schedule/) runs several classes a year in the Sacramento/San Jose/Reno area.

I've taken 3 classes with them this year and they are excellent :smile:

I recently took a one day carbine clinic with LMS up here in the Seattle area and was quite impressed.

Gordon Gray of www.gofast1.com is a top notch instructor. I had a one on one training session with him today and will be taking the transitional carbine course coming up next weekend at sac valley shooting center. He's a 30 year veteran of the Stockton police force with 21 of those years dedicated to SWAT. He's also a former instructor from stone cobra tactical and has taken over their remaining classes. I'll post an AAR after I'm done with the classes but I can say from the training today that he's the real Mcoy.

Have to agree wholeheartedly. Chappy, Jeff and the crew are a great bunch of guys who know their stuff. They spend as much time training with the top instructors in the country, as they do teaching other folks.

One of the marks of good instruction is continuous professional training with other competent instructors. LMS has trained with the best, and they put on top-notch training.

You can't go wrong with them.
