I currently own a USP45 Full size and I am thinking about selling it to get a different 45 ACP Pistol. something a little slimmer than a USP45. yesterday I had a chance to hold on HK45C and it is a nice compact 45. will coneal a little better because of its size. I also held a Sig P220 Elite Dark with threaded barrel and that really felt good in my hand. the grip is slimmer than my P226 9mm Enhanced Elite. I really like it. bigger than the HK45C but not really by much. now I can't decide which one of the pistols should I get.. any opinions? anybody have experience with both pistols? let me know.

Thanks

I'm a fan of the .45 ACP Sig Sauer pistols, but from my personal experience, they've also been the least reliable of the Sig family (with QC issues with current Sigs as of late, this is a pretty big issue).

My vote goes to the HK45C

I own both an HK45C and two P220's one of them being a stainless model. P220 is an excellent handgun and I love mine very much. But I hear of many quality control problems with Sig now a days, and have met people with problems with their newer production Sigs.

On the plus side the HK45C has the same controls as the USP 45 (assuming its a DA/SA V1) and can also be had with a threaded barrel.

I'd go for the HK, it's lighter, smaller and you won't have any issues with it.

HK 45c......no question. I've worked with the P220 platform for over a decade, and I don't recommend it for any serious service/duty use......certainly not a post 2005 model.

Is this a serious question? Search Google for Sig Sauer and issues. HK45c, without a doubt. I own three!

HK makes currently the most reliable out of the box pistol on the market in the United States.

Not to be a dick, but you come on here about once a week and ask what everyone thinks about a new gun your considering. You might want to look up some old threads about what people here think about choosing one platform and sticking with it. Just sayin'...
