I received my G&R Upper today from Grant: Noveske 10.5" Barrel/Gas Block, VIS2, SF MB556k

Mated to a Spikes lower, Timney 3 lb. skelotonized trigger, COLT LPK, MIAD, CTR...

Aimpoint M4 LaRue rear BUIS, POF front and a ton of LaRue QR.

Now for the bad pic (it's 2am, just finished)

Just FYI, your LaRue BUIS is on backwards ;)

What's the rationale behind the stubby VFG mounted to an add on rail/mount?

Using a bathroom scale with and without the weapon on me...~6.9lbs

Keeping in mind, the M4 optic itself is 12 ounces with LaRue mount, BUIS and FDE rails / VFG etc.

I expect it to be VERY LOUD...that said, it is a very good brake and it'll wear (nearly all the time) the SureFire FA556 Suppressor, when if finally get it.

Very nice build. I am just starting my SBR myself. I bought a 5" 9mm barrel yesterday and need to SBR a lower. I will probably do a pistol build until the form 1 comes back.

How do you like the POF front sight? I do like the looks of it and am on the fence about getting one. It is between that and a LMT version.

Nice SBR! I'm still up in the air as to wether or not I want to do one. Have all the parts except for the lower and the tax stamp! :)

Please correct me if I am wrong. I think your KNS pin kit is on backwards too.
