I only put 2 magazines through an M&P40 and I can only compare it to a G23 but it was a soft shooting pistol compared to the G23. Keep in mind that the M&P was designed as a platform for .40 S&W so the heavier slide, internal steel chassis and ergonomics should make it durable, reliable and comfy.

There are more than a handful of folks over on mp-pistol.com that have over 10K rounds through their M&P40s without a single issue.

~250 round, no issues. Had Robar NP3 the slide and polished feed-ramp.

She's flawless and accurate (more so than my previous Glocks), ergonomics are FAR superior to Glock IMHO.

owning both a M&P 40 full size and two Glock model 22s. If you like the Glock better I will trade you. The M&P is a better feeling handgun. About the same size minus the bulky grips of the glock. Mags are not as easy to come by yet but i guess thats in time. If you like glocks I would be amazed if you didnt like the M&P better.

THe MP40 is one of the best 40 pistols I've shot. The weapon is more than accurate and you can stack hits on top of each other as long as you are doing your part.

My MP40 has been through multiple courses with no problems.
