From the looks of this it seems to be compatible with classic Surefire 660. Is this correct?

Can the Surefire M72 laser module be used with it?

All the same, do wish that there was more modularity, compatibility and competition with tac-lights. This is a good start.

Think of the WG light as an SF Executive body with a 6P sized head (that is shock isolated).

You could put the M72 on it, but have never tried.

The M72 has a male thread. The pic on the G&R site shows a body with a male thread. Like the Millennium lights does this section unscrew to reveal a female thread?

I don't think it will work.

Grant,

I'm thinking of building a light using your WG6D with the following

bezel -Z32
p61 bulb assy
VLTOR offset mount
either a z49 tailcap or a UE07 tape switch.

did i get the parts for the build right?

The VLTOR offset will not work. Buy a G2 and add the bulb.

Thanks,

The E series light body limits you to the standard Vltor flashlight mount or the Larue mount if you want one that is offset.

I'm a fan of the WG series, but a G2 in a VTAC or Vltor mount is much more economically friendly and nearly the same weight.
