$250-$300 for a mag pouch? What is so special? I don't get it
$255 for a triple mag pouch? (http://www.ebay.com/itm/AOR1-Eagle-Industries-Pouch-Crye-LBT-Triple-Mag-Pouch-/110746094897?_trksid=p4340.m1374&_trkparms=algo%3DPI.WATCH%26its%3DC%252BS%26itu%3DUCC%26otn%3D15%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D2966308057115777603#ht_1608wt_1270)

Discontinued color? I sent a question to the $300 guy asking why. I'll post if he responds.

So did I. Shoot I just won a similar ebay auction of 8 new in wrapper dual m4 pouches in DCU for $.01+ Shipping. I don't think I can be convinced of anything making them worth that...
It has Crye in the name. Airsofters get all kinds of hard-ons for anything Crye. You know what they say about fools and their money...
It's AOR1. Which is a 'restricted' material/pattern used by NSW and some other groups. Mostly airsofters are gobbling it up.
I have 2 BFG slings with that pattern, but I paid 50 bucks each. The prices are absurd for what the pants and jackets are going for, 1500+ if I recall.
I'm confused, is it made by Eagle, Crye or LBT? Guess he's covering all his bases.
They tend to list every top-tier manufacturer they can in an attempt to get more 'hits' when people search for those types of items. There is huge interest here and abroad in NSW AOR1/AOR2 items for some strange reason...usually by folks who will never do the real thing.

Is there really a huge difference between "AOR1/2" and ACU, MARPAT and other "regular" digi-camo?

No, no huge difference. But these are the guys who will go nuts trying to look exactly like some photo of a SEAL and never do a push up...

ironically, i think i understand the reasons for collectors wanting to own something 'rare', more than i understand the logic behind our taxpayer dollars being spent to develop a camo (AOR1) that's so similar to desert MARPAT that i still can't tell the difference (nor really care much to).

Think I'll stick to my antiquated DCU :) At least that stuff doesn't cost as much as my car payment for a stinking pouch.
