Heavier AR10 hammer in an AR15, will it hurt??

I would like to put my left over AR10 hammer in my extra AR15 lower but noticed that the hammer is .300 in width where as all my AR15 hammers measure .200 . Will the extra mass (heavier) in the hammer hurt anything? Thanks for any info.

Considering an AR-10 hammer is designed to overcome the resistance of a firing pin spring, I have to believe it is a bad idea.

Didn't think about the AR10 firing pin spring, I guess it might result in a pierced primer.
