Looking for the best Brake/Comp to use for best accuracy results.
Rifle is 18" Middy HB 1:9
Looking at the BC 1.0, but heard it may hurt accuracy
This is a Coyote Rifle

Thanks

I'd go with the BattleComp. Couple of threads here on that accuracy issue. Upshot is IIRC, negligible effect.

for all out braking ability i'd make 2 suggestions

the surefire brake if you dont mind spending

if you want out pretty cheap and want a pretty good brake look at the ak style brake from bushy, i had one i ran on a 16 inch middy and it did not really hurt accuracy, the only downside to this brake was it tended to walk side to side under rapid fire

The battlecomp won't hurt accuracy. Pappabear has on on his 18" White Oak barrel. And that thing will shoot 1/2 MOA at 200 yards with 69 gr SMKs.

200? An 18" barrel at 20 yards and 1/2 moa seems like not much to brag about :big_boss:

I just put a Battlecomp on one rifle and a Spikes Dynacomp on another. Those build aren't quite finished yet but I am getting the itch to compare them

I don't think brakes affect accuracy for the most part.
