Beautiful out today. 65 degrees, light wind, sunny. Had the range all to myself so got to shoot all morning without ear pro. Working hard on 50 yd groups with my Savage, and got some pretty good ones. 0.497 C2C 5 shots was my best of the morning.

All 5-shot groups excep the bottom center, which is 10 shots.
My buddy wins a lot of F-class with his "free recoil" technique, so I was trying the same. Pretty hard to get great groups with a roll of duct tape as the rear rest and a 9x rimfire scope on top, but I always have a lot of fun. I have to continually resist the urge to put a target scope on it and see what my groups do. The 3-9x is light and clear though, and keeps it good for squirrels and such.

I shoot alot of rimfire, thats not to bad considering the setup. I have a BV in my 22lr roster as well. Did that suppressor effect the accuracy at all?

SK?
I ask because that's about what my 77/22 suppressed will shoot with domestic ammo - but if I use Eley Target or RWS Subsonic, it will cut cloverleafs at 50. You might try some higher grade ammo.

i wouldn't say SK is higher than that. however, SK and wolf are very hard to beat on price/performance. but also rimfire rifles are usually ammo specific for what the gun likes.
I have a Savage with a cheap 4x12 Simmons and I usually shoot Federal Match which gets nice clover leaf groups @ 50yds.
I've been tempted to put something better on it too, just to see how it would do?
I'll have to try some of these other ammo choices too.
Nice little rifle, I want a suppressed rimfire now. I'm jealous.:D

My Savage will do that too. Fun stuff.
