I've owned Glocks (22's) ever since I could get one.

Just lately however, I have handled in a gun dealer's a Walther P99 in AS configuration. The grip is great ergonomically speaking (Is there any other way?) and it has a de-cocking button. The magazine release is incorporated into the trigger guard. If you've never handled one in AS configuration, the trigger can be pulled straight through dao at 4.4 lb.s or if one stops squeezing at the proper point, it stays where it would be if it were in single action mode.

Can anyone comment on the Walther's quality vs. the Glock?

the Walther feels realy good in the hand but, i would realy recopmend you shoot it before you buy it.
i have shot both but i dont think the walther shoots as smooth as the glock, my humble opinion.
shoot it before you buy it.

I would have said goats, guess that is my Ohio background.

BTW I am in perfect agreement with Patrick's statement, no matter what kind of creature is getting fellated.

Another member here carries the S&W/Walther P99 because it's issued to him. He doesn't care for it one bit. He prefer Glocks or M&Ps when he's not 10-8.
