The new Midwest Industries AK Mini Dot Mount gives AK owners another alternative to mounting a RDS. It's similar in concept to the LaRue IronDot mount that's no longer available.

I like how you removed the existing sight.

Wish I had watched that from when I had installed my LaRue Iron Dot some time back. I do not recall it being that easy.

After you've done it a few times with a screw driver, you start looking for a better way. One day I thought, "what would happen if..." and poof, the best way I've found to remove the rear sight was discovered (at least by me, I'm sure I'm not the first).
