How many of you have shot one of these yet? Just when I think I've figured out which guns I like and don't like...another one bursts onto the scene.


(This list is COMPLETELY subjective and only lists MY likes/dislikes.)

1911 SA
Sig: 225, 229, 239


Don't like:
HK
Steyr
Sig 226
Glock fullsize
Sigpro
Ruger P series
1911 DAO
1911 double stack
S&W 910 style

Im not going to buy one, Im not going to buy one! The mags are too expensive! I dont want to have to stock up on M&P mags for the ban! Im not going to buy one!

I have a Sig226 Elite ST.

I have shot a few Glocks, an HKUSP 45, 1911's, S&W .357 Patrolman, my SRH .44, and others I have probably forgotten. The one that honestly felt the best to me was the Glock. I don't like the Glock though. However, if someone said "Pick a pistol, you are about to be swept into WWIII and it's all you get." I would have to pick a Glock 31. (assuming ammo wasn't an issue). I just really liked the G32 I shot and the G31 could only be better imho.

My friend in the SS was issued a Sig 226 and loves it. I just don't like how they feel. If I was to be thrown into WW3, I would have a really tough time deciding between Glock G23 and a worked over 1911.

I would most likely take the 1911.

I've heard quite a few people talk about how the new M&P was going to replace their personal Glocks. I have to test one out. :D
