My buddy in the army had this vfg with a bipod that shot out of the bottom. Anyone know who makes these?

If your going to get one make sure that you get the metal legs, first ones my unit got issued had plastic legs and broke pretty easily under hard use.

+1 most definitely! The polymer legs have a steel insert (which is visible) for strength is what he means. It's the mil version not the LE version.

Also, tons of Chinese knock-offs out there. Do a search on spotting a real grippod. The Chinese junk is worthless. I did manage to buy a real one a few years ago on ebay for around $60 if I remember correctly. $25 sounds too good to be true for a real one.

Ive been looking around and know that I definitely want the mil spec version with steel inserts. The sites I usually order off of don't have any, what are some solid/inexpensive sources?
