Thanks for the info. After reading through much of the prior link you posted I was wondering how the variations in production brass dimensions will be addressed or whether this is an issue any longer (last post was Feb 2011)?

This, combined with no more AA royalty payments and Wolf getting into ammo production for the caliber means... good things for Grendel.

What royalties? Alexander Arms never charged a royalty.

Wolf has been making Grendel ammo almost since day one.

Wolf is working towards a steel case. We have the initial batch in house and are loooking towards both laquer and polymer coated cases. Projectile is under examination but a 110 Grain along the lines of the 7N6 is most likely. Cost from Wolf is slated to be around the same as steel 223.

The Grendel design and chamber was set up to account for the possibility of steel ammunition. Shoulder, taper and neck are all suited to production and use of steel.

That's good to hear. I just might have to look into getting a 6.5 upper. What is the best overall magazine for the Grendel?
