XM885 vs Speer 62gr GD

Is there any advantage at all for 885 over .223 Speer 62 gr Gold Dot SP( other than price)? Thinking that as I shoot through my 885 to just replace it with the Speer. Thanks

By advantage, do you mean terminal performance?

M855 is a poor loading for a variety of reasons.

M855 does nothing particularly well. Speer GD is light years better than M855.

That said, I only keep a handful on hand for Home Defense. I still have ammo cans full of M855 and M193 for bulk storage.
