What are everyone's thoughts on this fine looking piece offered by SIG Arms? I will attach a couple of pics for everyone.

Looks nice but I've always like the black on black with black plastic better like my 92fs.

That is a very nice pistol!

I have played with a stock 239 in 9mm, works like a charm, my buddy is a SIG snob. He wants one of these, it has the 2 tone look and the melt down, he just cant justify spending $$$.

I agree... SIGS are very expensive pistols. The only pistol that should cost over 600, is a 1911, and I WOULD pay for that.

It looks like a nice pistol but the 239 and I don't get along. If they would put a stainless slide on a 225 (to handle high pressure calibers) I would get excited but as I said the 239 frame/trigger guard just doesn't fit me. If it fits you then go for it.

The 239 SAS is great. My wife owns one and loves it. I did a gotm4-custom trigger job on it (which lowered the trigger pulls about 1lb and smoothed them both out even better). And I installed TJs stainless hexhead grip screws, a short trigger and a Scott Warren rear sight.

It is a great pistol. I love those gotm4 trigger jobs. Lucky me I get them free. :D

Anybody who attends a South Hill class will come away with a healthy respect for what a box stock Sig can do in the right hands. One individual (Instructor in the October class) can make his dance. He is hands down one of the finest shooters I have ever seen.

Example: He ran with Ernie Langdon all day long.

So did you convert hers to DA/SA I was under the impression that they only come in DAK Trigger. I think this might be my next purchase.

No it's still DAK, but I smoothed it up and did my magic.;)

Voodoo that can be arranged. IM for details. I can also convert it to DA/SA if you want. The DAK 239 doesn't need the new upgraded DAK hammer spring that the others do (226s and 229s) due to light strikes.

PS VA-Dinger is talking about a friend of mine. It's great to shoot as much as Mr. S. does. If you aren't as good he is it would be a crime getting to train and shoot that much and NOT be that good. He wears out an M4 on average every 10 months which is a hell of a lot of rounds. I just saw him on Saturday, he wants to test fire one of my pistols. I'm glad he's on our side. :D
