has anyone taken apart the frame on their usp to polish up the trigger points? i know grays does it but its alot of cash

I haven't and I most certainly wouldn't. Unless you know exactly what you're doing you shouldn't mess with it. That's just my opinion. Gray Guns is expensive but he knows what he's doing, his work is amazing and he backs it for life. You could always go with HK's factory Match trigger but HK should install it and it too is not cheap... but it's less expensive than GG trigger job. Judging from your sig line you have a USPC, you could have all the components of the factory Match kit trigger installed without the exception of the trigger with over-travel stop but that shouldn't be on a combat pistol anyway.

Go with Gray Guns, the Match trigger kit or leave it alone... just my $.2

The match triggers are fantastic IMO and you can put the kit in yourself. I'm sure GG does much more than just polish, so you are likely entering into less than factory reliability. Try the match trigger first. I don't think you'll want more.
