View Full Version : Tapatalk Annoyance

I try to keep up with the forum with my iPhone when I'm away from home. Lately, though, I've been getting an annoying pop-up prompt from Tapatalk to use their app instead of my browser. I get it every time my browser opens the forum page and every time I follow a link or change pages, even with pop-ups disabled. This is annoying. I block all cookies in order to lock down the security, and don't want to change that.

The reason I raise the issue is that there's a rumor that forums are getting support from Tapatalk to enable that pop-up, and I'd like to suggest that it might have some drawbacks - personally, I've cut back on my iPhone access because of it. Again, it's annoying.

If M4C.net is involved, I hope that someone figures out a less intrusive way to implement it.

Thanks.

FWIW, I downloaded the Opera browser to use instead of the native iPhone Safari, and it functions well without the tapatalk spam pop-ups.
