Last summer, I finally finished up most of the home remodeling projects and got around to putting up a flagpole. Just curious how many other members have flagpoles at their homes. And, yes, I do keep it illuminated at night.

I have one attached to the top of a fence post on a 12ft pole I made. Night illumination as well.

side note- throw a bigger flag up that pole of yours, 50ft x100ft sounds about right! the kinda they have at huge car dealerships:D

I have one on a 25 ft pole, and I hoist and strike the colors every day.

I fly the US flag, in concert w/ the Army flag, or the Gadsden flag.

I wanted illumination, but for some reason I enjoy the routine of rasing and lowering the flag.

My dad has one at his place.

We rent a house so it does not really come into play. Some day.

My sister and brother-in-law lived with my folks for a short while after they moved to this area before they found their own place to live.

He is in the Army Reserve and was up for promotion or something. Some government investigators came by the neighborhood to ask the neighbors about him. They saw the flagpole and figured he was an OK guy...

I kind of miss Colors myself.
