That article is seriously lacking, and has no explanation as to why the officers said what they said.

Cops: What are yall doing?
Teachers: Grading papers.
Cops: Can't do that here.
Teachers: thankyou, then they pack up and leave

Thats the end of the article no further explanation, not only is the quality of the people in this country declining, so is the reporting.

Don't take this personally Hop as it isn't directed at you, but that kinda reporting just grinds my gears.

Title of article, and conclusion to which the author of the article would like you to jump is very, very misleading.

The key to the entire issue is:


"And the teachers gathered their tests, folding chairs and hand-made cardboard signs..."

They were demonstrating, and most likely in an un-approved area. That's what they can't do there.

Their answer to "What are they doing?" is completely irrelevant to the facts. Other than, factually, they were deceptive in their answer to police.
