HK Sling Loop for stock

I am trying to remedy the shortfalls of the MS2 like others here have done in the past by modding a VTAC or VCAS. Currently, the easiest for me is using HK sling loops. Has anybody used a KAC or MI HK sling loop plate for a CAR or other stock? I have the ASAP plate and like using it for single point but do not know how how well an HK will work on the stock. I am trying to figure out if I am going to have a chunk of metal in the way when I shoulder the rifle.
