PIG Hydration Carrier (http://www.skdtac.com/PIG_Hydration_Carrier_p/pig.503.htm)

One of the best pieces of kit for any PC. Very lo-pro. More compact than most hydration carriers on the market.

I was looking for a smaller low profile way to carry h20 on my Crye JPC as well. I have a size small JPC.

Kangaroo 1L canteen pouch

It comes with the covered drinking tube etc.
It is made by Source which is an Israeli company. Its built tough and is holding up well. It might take a couple weeks to get it delivered to you though because its shipping all the way from Israel.

Put that inside this Eagle Industries canteen pouch and mount the whole thing to your JPC.

I got the idea from the militarymorons guy. It works out well.

I agree. Great Hydro Carrier. I have used one here in the Stan for the last 2 months and it is great.

Depends on how small you want to go? I am running a TT Joey with a .75L Source bladder.

It's a similar set-up to what TACAV is using. It's really small for sure. I only have 3 rows of molle on the back of my low-pro plate carrier, so everything is else too big. This is the only thing I could find to fit.

I went with a Source WXP 2L baldder with Helix bite valve. Now I just have to narrow down a carrier for it.

Some decent options for 2L (70oz.) reservoir carriers:

+1. This is a similar (I have the .75L) set up I have been using for a couple of years and I really like it. It is easier to air out/clean than other bladders and the size is perfect for me. The quick connect/disconnect is a much better set up as I don't have to remove my drinking hose to take out the bladder. Having said that the longest call out I was ever on was 7 hours.

Another worth looking at would be the LBT 6142 KIT (which comes with one of the above Source hydration systems), and pick the size.

They're nearly as low profile as the smaller Eagle ones, but are insulated.

I'm going with the C model (50oz since I'm in the middle of a desert and on the tall side), the the B or A model (33oz and 27oz iirc) would be perfect.

I got an LBT one coming in. I'll snap some pics once it does.

Militarymorons was kind enough to do a review of the Source ILPS reservoir: http://www.militarymorons.com/equipment/outdoor.html#sourceilps

It's designed to fit internally inside the plate pocket, between the strike face of the ballistic plate and the pocket.

If anybody's interested in doing a T&E and posting a review of it on here, please PM me as I'd be happy to get you a sample.
