Robin Hood liberated and retrieved confiscatory taxes from the govenment and returned the money to the productive landowners and merchants. WTF does that have to do with taking money from financial transactions and giving it to the lazy?
While I can see some kind of transaction taxes to tamp down in the hyper-trading that goes on, 1%- are you bonkers? Talk about grinding the system down to a halt and reducing liquidity. Brilliant plan.
I'm seriously thinking about making up some signs with "Free Denver from the Occupation" and my "I am the 2%" write-up.
