When I look through my ta11f with both eyes open and then close one eye, the reticle will appear to alter poa by about six inches diagonally down and right. Are the mini acogs the same, or are they like an rds that will not shift poa depending on whether you use both eyes open or not?

I really am liking the idea of the TA44, but if it has this reticle shift, rather impractical.

Likely to do the same, but at a different amount, in my experience.

I always got shift with the TA31 RCO, but not nearly as much with the TA11 SDO. Yet another reason why I and so many others prefer the SDO....

Has a lot to do with the individual, since there's no shortage of folks that note no such shift. To this day, I'm not certain if those cats are the mutants, or if guys like we are. ;)

I may be one of those mutants.

I notice very, very little shift on the TA44. If any at all.

Do you notice shift on other ACOG's? On my TA11F, I get about 6" diagonal down and right at 25 yards or so.

I get alot of shift with a TA33. Some guys at work were using the TA11s and 3 outta 6 had a shift in the reticle but the other three did not. Kinda weird how it effects some and not others.

I *personally* didn't notice it shifting, but it's been a couple years since I had a TA-44 on my 6920 in a LaRue mount. It's now sitting on the carry handle of my father's 6520.

I have a slight astigmatism in my dominant (right) eye. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

I have both the TA44SR-10 and the TA31RCO-M4. I'll have to check out this 'shifting reticle' business. I haven't shot extensively with either as I mostly use my TR24G for 3 gun and TR20-2 for hunting. But I just got my AAC SPR/M4 suppressor approved and my complete BCM rifle with the TA31RCO-M4 has the AAC SPR/M4 Brakeout suppressor mount on it so I'll be using that optic more. I'll see what I can come up with.
