which LaRue/Harris bipod mount?

I am planning on purchasing either the Harris Bipod BRM-S and LT706 QD Swivel Mount Combo

Here is my concern. I would prefer the former, but I am wondering if the knob that LaRue installs to tighten the swivel does in fact tighten the bipod sufficiently. I have seen Harris OEM swivel mounts where the users have had to take pliers to tighten the knob to prevent turning. The solution is to install the KMW POD-LOC.

Maybe the question is this: does anyone know if the LaRue knob tightens the bipod screw as tightly as the KMW? Or, would I be better off buying the package with the LT130 mount and then also buying the KMW?

I have used the BRM-S with LT706, this set up works great as long as the rifles you are putting it on have rails. The round knob locks the bipod securely. I have the BRM-S with LT130, this set up works best if you need the option of using the bipod without the LT130. It has a higher profile then the LT706. The small locking knob sucks. I put the KMW-POC-LOC on it, the KMW being a lever only needs 1-2 fingers to lock it down, were as the Larue needs the thumb to get involved. The flat knob of the Larue works better than the angled leaver of the KMW when doing barricade work. The barricade work is why I have changed my KMW to a Phoenix Tactical SARG knob. The SARG is round like the Larue but with 3 prongs pointing aft. This knob provides more stability on barricades, can use finger tips to tighten, still have to use the thumb to get the torque of the KMWs longer appendage.

Have you (or anyone else) tried replacing the enlarged LaRue adjustment knob with either the SARG device or the KMW Pod-Lok?

Sorry, I never looked at how the larue knob was installed, nor do I have access to the mount that I used.
