348 with the mail in rebate is CHEAP. I may just pick one up for that price.

$348 is for military only. its a rebate that s&w is doing for the military

It might be hard to beat that so I would just order it and pay the shipping and transfer fees and be done with it. Its hard to ask another company to price match something as cheap as that. They are in business to make money and everything. Being in buiness and dealing with this sort of thing on a larger scale it makes no since to do things for little to absolutely no profit for customers who strictly buy based on price.

I guess I'm a relationship guy. Its worth a shade more money to buy from people you like and who will take care of you in my opinion. I guess thats just me.

AFAIK Quanticotactical is out of stock for a while but will take an order. I recall reading it was about a 3 month wait.

G&R are sponsors and also Grant contributes information on the forums as well. I try to use the sponsors or others that support and help the community, even if it cost a couple more bucks.

Just a thought.....

Go with Grant at G&R Tactical. He offers great prices, good service and supports this site. He also offers the Apex products with the M&P's.

Check with some local dealers. Some of the local will offer prices that are competitive with G&R Tactical's prices, though not as competitive as Quantico Tactical's prices.

I know the last time I was in Shoot Straight in Tampa, their price plus tax and background check was only $10 more then G&R Tactical for a M&P 9 Compact plus shipping, plus transfer (at another cheaper dealer), plus background check.

I bought mine from Grant. Go ahead and order it with the options you want. He does a great job and is worth supporting.

I bought an M&P .45 from G & R Tactical.

His prices were competitive, the pistol was in stock, and I was pleased doing business with him when I assembled my BCM middy.

Another reason is because he sells and installs the Apex parts. I wouldn't buy an M&P without them.

I jusy ordered a M&P45 4" in Flat Dark Earth from Quantico Tactical. Delivered, it will be about $60 less than Bud's.

I got mine from jetguns.com, i got the fullsize m&p 9mm with a total of 4 mags for $469 shipped. I wanted the model with no mag disconnect and no internal lock. So jim called his distributor and had the model i wanted sent overnight to them. I got an email from jetguns saying my gun had been shipped and they provided me with ups tracking a few hours ago. All in all im very happy :D

I hope Grant can get some more M&P's in soon. I am dying to try a fullsize with thumb safety and the new Apex FSS kit.

Exactly the same for me.

The real question is not who has the best price, but who has the M&P's you want in stock. Full size 9's with thumb safety and the 9 Pro seem very scarce.

Yes, I gave up on the FS 9 wTS hunt and settled on the FS 9 in the range and carry kit(I had a use for the extra items anyway). I just wanted to match as close as I could to my 45 FS wTS for range practice.

Quantico is selling factory discounted le/mil m&ps to everyone. This kinda defeats the purpose of the program.

Budsgunshop.com, I have ordered my last two from there, they offer LEO pricing to military and S&W also has a $50.00 rebate til 31 Dec 11 for military for pistols. After the rebate, $350.00. Check their inventory daily as it changes almost hourly and the M&Ps are going very quickly. I have no ties to Buds, but I have had good luck with them in the past.

We just got some FS 9mm's in stock with the CT Laser grips. These grips have the S&W logo on them (not CT's) and are MUCH cheaper (as a package) than if you bought the laser grips seperately.

Thanks to everyone in the thread that supported us and remember, support the dealers that support the forums you like (as we are the ones keeping the lights on). ;)

I generally feel you get what you pay for. That includes more than the base product, service, information, and as stated relationships. Over the years I've about settled on 2 or 3 vendors that I prefer to deal with and 99% of the time do. These include mostly supporters of the site and of course numerous products from supporting manufacturers offered by the vendors here. I need to utilyze one of those relastionships and get DSG on board here! At this stage of my life $30.00 isn't worth the headache of dealing with some anonymous web person.
