Lately I have been intrigued with the idea of hunting with a single shot rifle. I prefer two barrels with for my shotgun, since my wingshooting is not the best lol.
Now i would LOVE to buy a Blaser K95, but until i hit the lotto, or save for a few years....thats not going to happen. Now the CZ Brno Effect is within reach in the future.
But for my first i decided to go with a simple robust utilitarian version. The Rem/Baikal SPR18, I won one in .308win on gb.com.

I'll pick it up sunday, so hopefully within the next few weeks i'll put more than a few rounds down range, review it, and hunt with it. As of now i plan to stay with the iron sights, but a micro red dot might go on it.
Anyone else interested in the Euro style stalking single shot?
