Can somebody please hook me up with official numbers for the lengths of pull for an A1 stock as well as a fully extended carbine stock? Could measure myself but I'm looking for exact published specs. Thanks.

A long time ago, I was going to write a how-to to find your perfect length of pull and a bunch of other stuff for fitting a carbine to your own personal body. I didn't end up finishing it, but here is the pictures of the different lengths on a 6-position LMT tube. They go in order from first position to fully extended. LOP is the distance from the trigger face to the point behind the barrel/bore that touches your shoulder at the furthest part from what I understand.

Also, the A1 has a corresponding LOP to position 5 I believe, and the A2 stock at position 6. I am not sure on those though.

Borrowed from a skeet and trap sight where they tend to have a lot of details on these things:

DAC, DAH, DAM, LOTP are references to the comb and trigger pull to grip and thier relevance in aiding the sizing/fitment of a stock to an individual. Note that LOP is literally measured from the trigger face.

Doesn't exactly answer the AR question obviously, just shows you how to get there.

I also always tough that correct way to measure LOP is between middle of trigger face to middle of buttpad. Measuring A1 and A2 stocks are easy, but measuring carbine stock adds additional factor - what carbine stock? Colt? Vltor? Magpul? HK? LMT?
