RA9B Test Results? [Archive] - M4Carbine.net Forums

Does anyone have independent data from gel testing of the RA9B (147 grain Winchester Ranger Bonded) round? I know it's on Docgkr's list as good to go ammo, but I don't think I've ever seen any data from testing.

I see your question has been up for a while. If it's on Doc's list you can be sure it's GTG. I would surmise that it would perform identically to the RA9T in penetration and expansion.
I'd say use it and don't sweat it.

RA9B is my daily carry load. Thankfully, I have not had to shoot any living creature with it, but the test results from various LE agencies have been quite impressive (for a handgun round).
I'll use to have some reports saved, but I lost my hard drive.
Let me see if I can find them again.
