View Full Version : Antique Revolver Question

I saw a revolver in a TV show that peaked my curiosity. Instead of rotating chambers that lined up with one barrel each chamber had its own barrel.
I did a google search and came up with a "pepperbox revolver" but all the pics looked older than what I saw in the TV show. It is possible it was something cobbled together for TV.
Does anyone have any more info on this type of pistol?
Hell on Wheels? It's talked about in this link by the weapons master for the show.

It's an old idea that's been revived a time or two. In some cases, they're not actually revolvers.

I've got one of the modern day versions of the Pepperbox in my collection, the C.O.P. .357.

Not mine, but an example.
