I've been looking for 3rd generation S9-A1 but they don't seem to be a popular option due to issues with the previous generations and cost. I'm having a hard time finding a dealer that even stocks Steyr pistols. Walther too (except for the P22) for that matter. So I'm interested in anything anyone has to say about the latest generation guns.

Well, I guess I'm just going to have to spend the money on the experiment next year...

Found in 2 min with the search feature. I don't post a lot because most of the questions I have, have been asked already.

I read those threads too, most people were relaying experience with the older imports and not the latest and greatest iteration. The M-A1 is currently on it's 3rd generation from what I understand. I'm looking for info on new production guns, not the ones that were blown out by CDNN 3-4 years ago after Steyr stopped importing them.

I own an older one from 2005, and have some trigger time behind a new one. The primary difference I noticed was a different extractor and a roll pin in the slide where the striker is. This supposedly improved the trigger pull, and I found it to be more crisp than my older pistol, which I feel has a rather nice trigger.
