I'm looking for a qualified AK gunsmith who has experience riveting/installing a side optics rail to a milled Arsenal gun for a buddy of mine.
I know this is not a super common thing, as most people just buy an AK with an optics rail already attached, but I know there are people out there who have had this job done, and I'm looking for someone who can do the job without any risk or fear of misaligning or improperly locating the rail on the side of the receiver.
I'm betting there may even be a builder out there who has a jig for this task which would prevent you from screwing up!
Finally, I KNOW I once saw an online document or some type of diagram which showed a drawing with dimensions on locating the rail onto the side of the receiver for installation. Anyone seen such info? I know that different AK's probably use differing locations, but I'd still like to see that document again if I can find it.
